My Personal Blog, Post #5 How my personal preferences might influence my dialectical thinking or decisions. My personal preferences can shape how I think about and respond to opposing ideas. If I strongly believe in certain views or feel emotionally attached to them, I might find it harder to consider other perspectives fully. I also prefer practical solutions, which can affect how I deal with complex issues and if I'm open to change.

My Personal Blog, Post #1 My top 3 makeup products (review): 1. Rare Beauty Blush:   This is probably my top 1 favorite makeup product. Firstly, because blush is one of my favorite products, I love the little pop of tint it adds to your cheeks, making you not look colorless. This is my favorite blush because it has great pigmentation, being a liquid blush makes just a little bit of product go a long way, the blush blends super easily and leaves a radiant finish.  2. Hourglass Concealer My top 2 makeup product is the Hourglass Concealer. This saves my life because I tend to have dark circles from genetics, so whenever I don't want to look dead, this is my biggest solution.  I hate feeling cakey or heavy because of makeup, and this concealer is super light on the skin, making it comfortable to wear, especially in the hot weather. 3.  DIALECTIC POST #2: MATILDA MOVIE The movie Matilda tells the story of a smart, skilled young lady who uses her uncommon powers to stand up against her neglectful parents and a cruel school principal.  The thesis is that you may overcome problems by using your inner strength and intelligence. Because of her brilliant mind and telekinetic abilities, Matilda defends herself and others in opposition to bullying. On the other hand, the movie's authoritative characters such as Matilda's parents and her cruel principal, Miss Trunchbull, represent the opposite. They try to suppress Matilda's gifts, indicating how those in power often reject uniqueness.   The synthesis occurs as Matilda discovers how to combine kindness and intelligence, especially with Miss Honey. It allows her to see that, although intelligence is important, compassion is also very important. Through the combination of her skills and compassion, Matilda brings out positive change in her life.

My Dialectics Blog, Post #1: What is Dialectics? -    It is the skill of reasoning, questioning, and arguing. Implementing critical thinking in students, analyzing opposing and diverse viewpoints, and combining them to understand better what topics are being discussed. A class example that involves the elements I mentioned previously, was when we discussed different opinions on the Matilda movie like if she was a neglected kid, and if she was the problem in the difficulties of her relationship with her parents.
